Miami Beach Comprehensive Wellness Center is excited to announce an online, interactive webinar for healthcare providers of all backgrounds.  Disorders of thyroid gland metabolism are among the most common problems of the endocrine system. At least 20 million people in the United States are affected by thyroid disorders[1].  Recognizing and treating disorders of thyroid is essential to ensure health of the entire body.  This program will introduce a comprehensive approach to understand the biomedical and energetic basis of thyroid issues.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the basic physiology of thyroid hormone synthesis and action
  • Identify the different types of thyroid disorders by clinical symptoms and laboratory findings
  • Discuss the energetic patterns associated with thyroid disorders
  • Design a comprehensive, integrated treatment plan to address thyroid imbalances which includes supplements, herbs, dietary and energetic healing modalities
