Kefira Kelly Baron

In addition to her clinical skills, Kefira teaches foundational theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine and herbology at Everglades University. She enjoys sharing her wisdom and expertise with others while encouraging students to enhance their knowledge.

Kefira also continues to enhance her knowledge and interest in neuroscience, functional medicine and autoimmune disorders. Kefira considers herself a lifelong learner and strives to be constantly growing and challenging herself more to bring new skills and modalities in her practice.

With her multidisciplinary background in psychology, Kefira employs dynamic approaches for her treatments. Her clinical strengths are anxiety, depression, addiction and psycho-emotional challenges. Combining knowledge with intuition, she excels at diagnostics, enabling the correct treatment to be applied. Interactions with her allow clients to have higher capacity for functioning under day-to-day stresses and underlying epigenetic traumas.

Clinical Experience:

Kefira has clinical experience in a variety of settings, including integrated clinics, private practice and detox facilities.

In 2022, she established an acupuncture treatment program at Sylvia Brafman Mental Health Center, a partial in-patient mental health center. The acupuncture program included treatments which were custom-tailored to each person and their needs. Kefira observed that individuals who consistently received acupuncture would usually see an accelerated improvement and exit the program faster. Her acupuncture treatments work synergistically with other healing modalities, allopathic and psychiatric medications, increasing restorative processes leading to less dependency and self-destructive behaviors.

Kefira also performs with her synthesizers and does vinyl DJing from time to time. Her favorite genre of music is jazz.
